In addition to writing, I am happy to serve fellow authors with my editing skills. I hope to provide authors my best editing work so they may see each and every word in their manuscripts shine. I am a Silver Member with the Christian PEN (Proofreaders and Editors Network). I earned my diploma through Montana State University of Billings and my freelance editing certificates through taking online courses with the PEN Institute.

I edit fiction in the following genres:

- Science fiction and all subgenres
I primarily edit young adult fiction. I do not edit nonfiction.
While works do not have to be explicitly Christian, I do ask that the content of the manuscripts show conservative values. The following are my policies regarding manuscript material:
- I will not edit manuscripts with graphic smut or spice. As the Bible condemns all sexuality outside of marriage between one man and one woman, so do I. However, if the story is showing any kind of sexual immorality and/or abuse with the intention of also showing the consequences of sinful sex (such as the 2009 Christian drama movie To Save a Life), then I will take the manuscript into consideration.
- I understand that magic is one of the most fundamental elements of fantasy. I personally enjoy fairytale magic, and even the greatest Christian authors such as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien have depicted magic positively in their stories. So if your fantasy manuscript has only innocent fairytale magic, I will accept it. But I will not accept manuscripts that are filled with the occult and satanism. Keep the magic at an appropriate level. Regarding undead creatures such as vampires, zombies, etc., I am generally not uncomfortable with the undead. I would normally accept a manuscript that features an undead creature as an antagonist, or if the manuscript simply has a cast of traditional monsters. A simple ghost story would be fine (such as A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens).
- Please, no swearing unless the author has an extremely good reason (i.e. one character is reprimanding another for using the d-word). If the author simply mentions that a character cursed (no dialogue), I will not make it into a big deal, but I would very much prefer not be reading a lot of cussing in a book.
- I will reject any manuscript that promotes racism against any ethnicity.
