Alicia Layne Thomason is an author, poet, and musician. Her first works are her poetry book, Step Into Creativity, and her Kennedy Ryan books, an action and adventure and Christian fiction series for teenagers, young adults, and any reader who loves contemporary Westerns. Alicia graduated from Montana State University Billings in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She dreams of writing fantasy and science fiction novels in the near future.

Apart from writing, Alicia enjoys making jewelry and playing the violin and the viola. She is a substitute violinist of the Billings Symphony and a mentor for the Billings Symphony Youth Orchestra.
